Grim Fandango Remastered App Reviews

I played it in the late 90s and now my tween is playing it and loving it. I still remember all the characters (and some of the solutions) after almost 20 years. Love it! Thank you.

Somehow I can only see half of the screen while the second half appear black on my large iPad. Not usable.

This is by far one of the best adventure games ever to have been made. The developers created a beautiful world, with beautiful voice acting. I had beat Grim Fandango 3 times already (own it on the Mac) and I just bought it for iOS for the sake of knowing that I have it on me wherever I go!

I dont know what all these reviews about but the game does not work it wont let me download it and even when I did download its not a game its just a quiz

Loved every minute of this game. Some difficulties playing on a smaller iPhone screen as opposed to a monitor, but overall a blast of fun and nostalgia.

Just bought it - its taking forever to load. In fact, seems like its frozen. Very disappointing. Probably no way to get a refund.

The game glitches and crashes half way through. Been a few weeks and no help from app support. Looking online this seems to be a problem lots of people are having. This should be taken out of the store for not functioning. I want my money back.

Still the best game Ive ever played but lack of appletv version is loco.

I never played the original game, so this whole thing was new to me. Overall, I thought the game itself was really great. I needed a walkthrough on some parts, but most of it I was able to figure out myself. (Even if some of it was through trial and error.) I loved the story, the graphics, and the length of the game. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars, was because I hit a glitch halfway through. The game kept crashing and would not allow me to proceed any further. I tried everything I could to get past it, but nothing worked, and their customer support was no help at all. I ended up having to start the entire game over from the beginning, and that was very frustrating. Otherwise, great game.

PS. Please developers update game for iOS 10 per Apple request so game will continue to work on future iOS generations

This is a good game, but this version is full of glitches. I cant finish the game because it has a game-breaking glitches. Dont buy this version !

I looovvvee this game in fact Ive loved the original back in the late 90s. I was thrilled to get this on my phone and start to play. I would give this a higher rating if it werent for all the times the game froze. Please fix this.

This game is like getting food poisoning in a four star restaurant - the art is ravishingly, the scenario is witty, BUT I could not play the game through. I googled, watched spoiler videos, entered a Blog (finding others with the same bug)......and contacted the creators. They replied to query, asking what I was playing on. I answered. They did not reply......

I thought this game was lost in time. I thank the developers for their effort in importing this.

Unfortunately very buggy in the 3rd chapter (year), effectively UNPLAYABLE from a certain point onwards – specifically, on the island, when operating the crane. The bug is well known to the developers since end of 2016, and obviously they did not resolve it (but still sell their buggy game...). Unacceptable from my point of view. Played on a BRAND NEW iPad model 2017 with 128GB memory.

Love this game. However, it definitely needs a hint area and an overview map. Sometimes I spend a lot of time in the same area looking for the right room or building. I cannot find the letter needed that is supposed to be in Mannys office. I have looked everywhere but to no avail. I cannot proceed without it. If anyone can help, bless you.

Great game, loved it as kid and still do! Unfortunately, it always crashes when Manny walks around that stone near the pearl. Please fix!!! I found a solution to that meanwhile. Switch to Render Mode "Original" and it doesnt freeze anymore at that point.

Loved this game on the pc Manny years ago but on my SE it crashes at the same point every time. When trying to feed the chain down the conveyor belt it freezes and the crashes. Reading the reviews it looks like other people are having the same issue. Please fix as o paid almost $8 for this app. Do not purchase until an update is done later than dec 2016.

Im stuck on year three because whenever I try to operate the crane after putting it into the grinder, the music stops playing and the screen freezes... I was looking forward to finishing the game after all my hard work :(
